Over a century ago, casino players tried to find out ways to overcome the house edge and win big money at different casino games. They didn’t care whether it was Sic Bo, Baccarat, Blackjack, or whatever it is, they simply wanted to be ahead of the casino. Keep in mind that this strategy has been declared illegal by all casinos. Anyways, it is completely useless nowadays due to the major changes casinos have made.

Using a mathematical method, card counting consists of keeping track of the cards that have been put in play and finding the probability of getting the card you need to get 21. Let’s say that you are playing with 1 deck shoe, you have a 52 card possibility. If 4 of them are in play, you have another 48 cards that can come in play in the next draw. You would also need to figure out what hand the dealer has. In the 1st few rounds, card counters will bet very low just to get a few cards in the discard pile. By doing so, they could get better winnings as the game proceeds.

Once card counting started to be popular, casinos found the need to put more of a challenge and make players lose more money, after all, this is what they are best at. Once casinos caught on to card counting, they added multiple decks to the game. The more decks you add, the more probabilities you have, and the harder it gets to keep track of the cards to come. To make it even more complicated, casinos started to reshuffles the decks to make the card counters job a lot harder.

Don’t expect to get this strategy right off the bat. This can take several times before even understanding how it works. Once mastered, you have to act as if you are not card counting because if you are caught doing so, let’s just say your night won’t end up too well.

All in all, I do not recommend using card counting in a land based casino and I would even say not to do it all because the consequences of it can be severe. There are stories of people getting “back doored” meaning they were brought in the back and given a serious beating. Another reason not to use this strategy is the simple fact that gambling is meant to be a risk and card counting can take all the fun out of playing blackjack.

* Players must note that card counting is only applicable in land based casinos, using this technique at online casinos is ineffective and completely useless.

Online Slots Strategy & Tips http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/online-slots-strategy-tips/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=online-slots-strategy-tips http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/online-slots-strategy-tips/#comments Thu, 17 Feb 2023 18:46:13 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=1984

Many people believe that Slots have a certain strategy in order to win big bucks. This is a myth, actually slots is a 100% chance game. There is absolutely no way of predicting what the spin will give as a result. Everything result that gets given out in a slots machine is completely randomized. However, there are some things that you could take into account to increase your chances of hitting a winning combination and they are all listed below.

  • Start by giving yourself a limit before starting to play slots because it is obvious that you won’t be able to win every time. So set yourself a limit and never exceed it.
  • Before starting to play, make sure that the slots machine your about to play on has an average payout of 95%.
  • Inform yourself on the odds of the machine’s combination. By doing so, you increase your chances of understanding the payout table and knowing what are your chances of hitting certain combinations. Check also what is the maximum bet of the slots because keep in mind that the bigger the bet, the bigger the payout.
  • Find a machine that answers your needs, meaning that if you only have $40 to wager, find yourself a slots machines that uses a few pennies as wagers. Remember to find a machine that has an average payout of 95%.
  • Give yourself a time limit for the amount of time you spend on each machine. If you’ve been playing the same machine for 15 minutes and have only been losing, move on to a new machine.
  • If you find yourself in a winning streak, stay on that machine and keep on playing the same way you were. Don’t place higher bets because you think your getting lucky, this is exactly how people end up losing all their winnings. Like stated above, set yourself a budget per round and stick to it no matter what!

Players must ALWAYS remember to cashout their winnings and not to leave them in the machine. Don’t laugh at this matter because it does happen!

The Basic Rules Of Blackjack http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-blackjack/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-basic-rules-of-blackjack http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-blackjack/#comments Mon, 22 Nov 2010 19:05:44 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=1074

Blackjack has got to be one of the most if not the most famous casino game. The whole objective of the game is to get the closest possible to the number 21 without exceeding it. Face cards (jack, queen, king) are worth 10 points each, Aces are either worth 1 or 11 points (depending on the cards in your hand). Every other card in the deck is represented by their numeric value.

When a player and the dealer come to a tie, it is called a push and each player receives their bet back. If a player receives an Ace and 10 on the first two dealt cards, it is an automatic win and the payout is of 1.5 to 1, unless a tie occurs which makes it a push. A player can stand at any time that he wishes.

In order to win the round, you need to beat the dealer without exceeding 21 points (exceeding 21 points is called a “bust”). The winner is whoever gets the closest to 21 points by adding all the card values.

At a Blackjack table, there are usually 6 seats and 6 to 8 decks are used in a game. These 8 decks are shuffled by the dealer and placed in a card dispensing box also called a “shoe”.

Before any cards are dealt, players place their bets and afterwards get dealt 2 face up cards. The dealer deals himself 1 face up card and another one face down. At each players respective turns, they have the choice to either keep their cards, which is called a “Stand”, either request more cards to get closer to 21 points, which is called a “Hit”. Players who didn’t bust wait for the dealer to flip his face down to see what are the results of his hand. By the rules of Blackjack, the dealer must stand once he gets 17 points or higher and he must hit if he has 16 points or less.

Getting a 10 or any face card along with an Ace is an automatic win and is called “Blackjack”. Getting Blackjack awards you a payout of 1.5 to 1, unless the dealer gets Blackjack as well which makes it a push.

All the remaining players who’s face card value is greater than the dealers win with a payout ratio of 1 to 1. All the other players who’s card value is lower than the dealers lose their bets. However, if the dealer busts himself, all players win and get a payout ratio of 1 to 1. In Blackjack, there are a whole bunch of betting options, below is a complete list of all of them.

  • Split Hand: If you get two cards with the same numeric value or the same face card, you could split them in two and play them as 2 separate hands. A player must place the same bet on the 2nd hand.
  • Surrender: Give up your current hand and take back half your bet.
  • Early Surrender: This type of surrender is when a player gives up his hand before the dealer checks for Blackjack.
  • Late Surrender: This type of surrender is after the dealer checks for Blackjack, if he does, Surrender is not permitted.
  • Hard Hand: A hand that doesn’t contain an Ace or that has an Ace valued at 1 is called a “Hard Hand” because in that hand it could only have 1 value.
  • Soft Hand: A hand that contains an Ace that counts as 11 is called “Soft Hand”.
  • Double Down: Double your initial wager once the two first cards were dealt, but hitting only once isn’t permitted.
  • Insurance: This is a side bet that is half the size of the initial wager which bets that the dealer doesn’t have 21 in his hand. This is only allowed when the dealer is showing an Ace face up. If the dealer has Blackjack at the end, the insurance wager has a payout of 2 to 1 but loses if the dealer does not have Blackjack.

Now that you know the basic rules of Blackjack, you can now start playing on your favorite online casino and start winning big !

The Basic Rules Of Sic-Bo http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-sic-bo/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-basic-rules-of-sic-bo http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-sic-bo/#comments Sat, 11 Sep 2010 18:25:31 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=1064

Sic-Bo is a casino dice game that has a very similar layout as Roulette.  The game is pretty simple, the dice is tossed and the outcomes are shown and players place their bets on them. Once all bets are placed on the table, the dealer will throw the 3 dices and reveal the outcomes. The origins of Sic-Bo come from China which means “dice pair”. The game of Sic-Bo became very popular in the far east and recently made its apparition in casinos across USA. Players are allowed to place more than one bet at a time.

Small & Big Bet: If you place a wager on a “Small” bet, you win if the total sum of the 3 dices is between 4 and 10. For the “Big” bet, you win if the total sum is between 11 and 18. You lose both “Small” and “Big” bets if the dice outcome is a 3 of a kind (eg: 3x 4 or 3x 6 etc…). The payout for “Small” and “Big” bets is of 1 to 1.

Number Bet: This type of bet is when a player places a bet on a specific number that he thinks might appear in the next dice roll. Players select a number from 1 to 6 and put their wagers on the corresponding area. The payout for this kind of bet varies on the number of times the chosen number appears. If the number appears once, then the payout is of 1 to 1. If it appears twice, then the payout is of 2 to 1, and so on and so forth.

Pair Bet: A player can bet on any of the 15 possible combinations two dices have (eg: 2 and 6; 1 and 3; 4 and 5). If both numbers appear, the payout if of 5 to 1. If none appear, the bet is lost.

Total Bet: When placing a total bet, you are betting on the outcome of the sum of all 3 dices. The possible outcomes are from 4 to 17, the numbers 3 and 18 are excluded. The payouts vary greatly from sum to sum, therefore I have put together a payouts table right below.

  • Total of 4 – 60 to 1
  • Total of 5 – 30 to 1
  • Total of 6 – 17 to 1
  • Total of 7 – 12 to 1
  • Total of 8 – 8 to 1
  • Total of 9 – 6 to 1
  • Total of 10 – 6 to 1
  • Total of 11 – 6 to 1
  • Total of 12 – 6 to 1
  • Total of  13 – 8 to 1
  • Total of 14 – 12 to 1
  • Total of 15 – 17 to 1
  • Total of 16 – 30 to 1
  • Total of 17 – 60 to 1

Double Bet: This kind of bet is when a player bets on a specific pair to appear (eg: 2x 3; 2x 4; 2x 5;). If your chosen numbers appear at least twice, you win and your payout is of 10 to 1.

Triple Bet: A triple bet is when a player places a bet on the outcome of the 3 dices to be the same (eg: 3x 2; 3x 4; 3x 5;). If your chosen numbers appear, you win and your payout is of 180 to 1.

Any Triple Bet: A player places a bet that the outcome of all 3 dices will be identical, hens the term “Any Triple”. If the player wins, his payout is of 30 to 1.

Now that all the basic rules of Sic-Bo are well printed in your mind, you may now start playing it at your favorite online casino.

The Basic Rules Of Keno http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-keno/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-basic-rules-of-keno http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-keno/#comments Wed, 08 Sep 2010 15:04:13 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=1049

Keno is probably one of the easiest casino games to play and also the one with the highest payouts. Learning how to play Keno is very easy and requires a small amount of time to learn the basic rules. A good thing about Keno is that its rules do not vary between continents, they are the same all over the world.

To start your Keno game, you must purchase a Keno ticket which is found at the Keno Booth. Once you receive your ticket, mark down all your numbers and go get your receipt. DO NOT lost your receipt because it is your proof of purchase and with what you claim your winnings.

In the most standard form of the game, one or more players play against the house. Players grab their ticket and pick a few numbers that are on the board and mark them. They then bring their ticket to the Keno clerk to receive their receipt. Never lose your receipt because it is with what you will claim your winnings. Look up to the display screen or the board and check to see if the numbers you have selected are showing up on the screen or board.

All the numbers are picked randomly by a computer, meaning that you have around 5 minutes in between each Keno game. Once the numbers start appearing on the screen, mark them down on your ticket. At the end of the Keno round, the computer will display the amount of matches and if you have a winning ticket, go to the Keno clerk and claim your prize. Do not waste time because you may only claim your prize in between 2 Keno games. If a new Keno game starts, you will lose your winnings.

The only thing that varies in Keno from casino to casino is the payouts. Every casino has his own payouts but most of the time they are the same.

  • Playing with 5 numbers and matching 3 of the numbers will get you a payout of 3 to 1.
  • Matching 4 of the 5 numbers will get you a payout of 26 to 1.
  • Matching all 5 numbers will get you a payout of 332 to 1.

Now you might understand why people love Keno so much because, if you are lucky enough, you may win 332x your bet. Now that’s a lot of money!

The Basic Rules Of American Roulette http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-american-roulette/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-basic-rules-of-american-roulette http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-american-roulette/#comments Mon, 16 Aug 2010 16:56:43 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=1029

The game of Roulette has been around for quite some time and now and relatively easy to play. Their is a maximum of 6 players at a Roulette table and each player gets a distinct chip color so the dealer can tell which player placed the winning bet. There are a few different ways to place bets in American Roulette. Every bet has a different distribution and different set of numbers. You can see all the different types of distribution in the “Winning Roulette Table” below.

The Rules Of American Roulette

Straight Up: A player can place a bet on any desired number, which includes the “0″ and “00″, by placing it in the center of the number. This type of wager is the one with the highest payout. See table below.

Split Bet: A player can place a bet on two different numbers with one wager. The player will simply place the chip on the line in between the two numbers. See the chart below to see what payouts are afforded to this type of bet.

Street Bet: A street bet is when a player places a bet on 3 consecutive numbers. The player will place his wager on the boundary line of the table at the end of the corresponding row. See table below to see what payouts are afforded to this bet.

Corner Bet: Roulette players can place bets on four numbers by placing the wager in the corner where all four numbers meet. See the table below to see what payouts are afforded to these types of bets.

Five Bet: A player can place a bet on the numbers 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3. This bet is achieved by placing the wager on the boundary line between 0 and where the first row intersects. The payout for this kind of bey is of 6 to 1.

Line Bet: This type of bet is when players place 2 street bets, meaning placing wagers on 6 different numbers in 2 rows of 3 numbers. The player simply places his wager on the boundary line where the line dividing the two rows intersects.

Column Bet: At a Roulette table, there are 3 boxes labeled “2 to 1″ at the bottom of each column. By placing your wager in 1 of those boxes, you are betting on all the numbers in that column. If any of the number is hit, you win with a payout of 2 to 1. If the number “0″ and “00″ come up the bet is lost.

Dozen Bet: A player can place a bet on a group of 12 numbers by placing his wager on the boxes marked with “1st 12″, “2nd 12″, “3rd 12″. If one of those 12 numbers is hit you win. The payout for these winnings is of 2 to 1. Falling on “0″ and “00″ will make you lose your wager.

Even/Odd, Low/High, or Red/Black Bets: A player can place bets in one of the boxes that are located along the side of the Roulette table that cover half of all the numbers on the table. Every box covers 18 numbers and all winnings are even money, “0″ and “00″ are both losing numbers.

Minimum Table Bet: Just like almost every other table games, their is a minimum required bet to place to meet the minimum table bet.

Winning Number: There’s a winning roulette number display at every roulette table which displays the previous 13 spin results.

Winning Roulette Table:

Chip Covers Term Pays
1 number Straight Up 35 to 1

The Basic Rules Of Craps http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-craps/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-basic-rules-of-craps http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/the-basic-rules-of-craps/#comments Mon, 09 Aug 2010 20:56:10 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=977

Craps is probably one of the oldest gambling casino games. It originated in France and reached North America in the early 1800′s. Often times people look at the game of craps and think it is a very complicated and confusing game. It is true that it is not the simplest game to play, however once you got the basic rules, it is a very fun game to play.

Come Out Roll: To start a Craps game, you must do a come out roll which is the first roll of a Craps round. If the dice gives a total of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 then to point is established. However, a dice roll totaling 2, 3, 7, 11 or 12 the rounds ends on the spot. Once the point is determined, an “ON” puck is placed on the point. After the point is rolled, the dice will be rolled continuously until a 7 or the point is rolled.

Pass Line Bets: Before the craps game begins, players can place a pass line bet on the pass line better known as the “Come Out Roll”. A dice roll with a total of 7 or 11 is an immediate win and the round will be terminated. If a player rolls a 2, 3 or 12, it is called “Craps” and the player loses. If any other number is rolled, that number then becomes the point. A player will win the pass line bet if the point is rolled before a 7 is rolled. So it obvious that you lose your pass line bet if the 7 is rolled before the point. The Pass Line Bet payout ratio is 1 to 1.

Don’t Pass Line Bets: Like the name says it, a Don’t Pass Line Bet is the opposite of a Pass Line Bet and it placed in the “Don’t Pass Bar” before the dices are rolled for the Come Out Roll. In this kind of bet, a player bets that the shooter will roll a 7 before rolling the point. A player wins the come out roll if the shooter rolls craps or a 7. If the come out roll is 12, the Don’t Pass Line Bet in returned to the respective player in a push. A player will lose the Come Out Roll only if the dice roll is 7, 11 or the point. The Don’t Pass Line Bet payout ratio is 1 to 1.

Come Bets: If a player wishes to place a Come Bet, he must place his bet in the box labeled “Come”. The player wins if the dice roll is 7 or 11 and he receives an even payout. A player loses if the next roll is craps. However, if the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, that number becomes the come point. The Come Bet is then moved from the “Come” box to the respective come point.  If the come point is rolled before a 7, the player wins the bet. If the 7 is rolled before the come point, the player loses his bet. The Come Bet payout ratio is 1 to 1.

Don’t Come Bets: Same thing here, just like the name says it, a Don’t Come Bet is the opposite of a come bet. The bet is placed on the table after the Come Out roll in the “Don’t Come” box. If the shooter rolls a 3 or 2, the player wins the Don’t Come Bet, on the other hand, if a 7 or 11 comes out, the player loses the bet. If a 12 is rolled by the shooter, the player’s bet is returned to him in a push. However, if the dice roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, that number becomes the “Don’t Come Point”, and the Don’t Come Bet is moved from the “Don’t Come Bar” to the bar in the upper left corner if the box relevant to the Don’t Come Point. If the dice roll totals 7, the gambler loses his bet. Don’t Come Bet payout ratio is 1 to 1.

Any Craps Bets: Players place their bets on Craps numbers (2, 3 or 12) and wins if they are rolled in the next dice roll. The payout ratio is of 7 to 1.

The Basic Rules Of Baccarat http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/how-to-play-baccarat-basic-rules/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=how-to-play-baccarat-basic-rules http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/how-to-play-baccarat-basic-rules/#comments Tue, 22 Jun 2010 15:35:52 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=912

Playing Baccarat in a land based casino can be quite complicated. First off, you need a lot of money to be able to play because this game is usually played by high rollers. Secondly, if you do not have to proper dress code, you will be asked to leave the table. If this is inconvenient for you, you could always play from the comfort of home in your pyjamas on online casinos. The game will also be much cheaper on online casinos compared to land based casinos.

Baccarat Rules

Here are the card values:

  • Cards from 2 to 9 have their face value.
  • The 10 and face cards(Jack, Queen, King) have a value of zero.

The whole intention of the game is to get the closest possible to the number 9 without exceeding it. The winning player is the one who is the closest to the number 9. In Baccarat, you have three possibilities of bets: the Banker, the Player, or a Tie. Once all the bets have been placed, 2 cards will be dealt to both the Banker and the Player.

If the Player has 9 points with the 2 cards he has been dealt, he wins automatically. If the Player gets a 6 and 5 for example, he will have 1 point instead of 11 which will prevent him from a bust.

If the Player didn’t receive a 9 from the first 2 cards that were dealt, he may draw additional cards to get the closest possible to 9. All bets from the Player gives a even payout. It is the same for the Banker however you must pay a certain tax to the casino because the Banker usually wins most of the time.

So this is it, these are the rules of Baccarat. They are quite simple and very easy to follow and the game-play is quite fun. Like every other casino game, depending on which online casino you play, there might be some rule variation but if you know the basics, you should be good.

How To Play Baccarat: Basic Tips http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/how-to-play-baccarat-basic-tips/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=how-to-play-baccarat-basic-tips http://pacificintegration.ca/games-rules-tips/how-to-play-baccarat-basic-tips/#comments Fri, 18 Jun 2010 17:16:10 +0000 elkanac http://pacificintegration.ca/?p=919

Most people will always tell you to bet on the Banker when playing Baccarat because it is slightly more favorable than betting on the Player. So at a Baccarat table, continuously place bets on the Banker. I recommend using a scorecard to keep track of all the probabilities that took place.

People always place bets on the Banker because he has a bit more chances to win than the Player. For that reason, the house takes 5% commission (depending on the online casino) on all Banker wagers that are winning ones. Even with house’s commission, the house edge is still lower because the Banker’s wager is at 1.06% while the Player’s wager is at 1.24%. So mathematically, you should always bet on the Banker because he has the best odds of winning. However, some Baccarat players do not agree with this statement.

Their theory is that if you always bet on the Banker, the whole game of Baccarat will become very boring after a few hours of playing it. The whole gambling beauty of Baccarat will be lost because of a small probability difference. People tend to forget that in gambling there is also the “fun factor”.

Most online casinos provide players with a scorecard to keep track of the number of Banker and Players wins. Many Baccarat players believe that they will be able to predict the outcome of cards by keeping track of the pattern of Banker and Player wins. I personally find this strategy a waste of time because statistically speaking, it is impossible to predict the outcome of a well randomized shoe.

But to add to the excitement, I recommend using a scorecard. Remember that there is a certain “fun factor” in gambling.
