Several days ago I did get a response from a 'chat' person….I was told that they had been down because of a fire in one of their servers….uh huh…..they're either broke or they needed my money (and others) to pay for the owner's yacht…..ladies of the night….and, perhaps, a brother-in-law's dental work…

There are Nigerian scammers, Somalian pirates…and Lucky 18 owners..all issue of the same virulent, diseased womb…

Hello Steve–I fully understand….I don't think the situation is going to change. Apparently there are no regulatory agencies that monitor online casinos and that is something that should be addressed…by the online gaming industry…that would be gambling portals, honest casinos that do not want to be tarnished by thieving rogue casinos…and select players should also  be involved in this process….

Eventually the U.S. will make online gaming legitimate and, if gambling entities outside the U.S. want a piece of the huge action potentially derived from this country, they will have to clean up the industry…apart from non payment the RTG software at some casinos is transparently shouting 'we cheat'….I am speaking of BJ software that any experienced player can document and prove that the RNG (if one actually exists at these offending casinos) is manipulated (and I have theories as to how it is done) to insure that the player can win…but he must stop playing at an unknown strategic moment and cashin….or he/she will go down in flames….

 Who is the TST? They are a completely independent company that test the Random Number Generators (RNG) of the online casino's software.

If it passes all of its tests, the online casino gets approved legit, receives the TST license, and receives a stamp of approval that is usually advertised on the homepage.

Hello Roger–I am not new to online gaming and I am not new to the process of questioning all facits of online gaming. In 2003 I wrote sixty plus columns for a group of gambling portals owned by MediaSoft. Many of those columns were critical of the unregulated online gaming industry.

I am not saying that all online casinos are crooked nor does 'reasons to buy our software' say that all online casinos are crooked. But I have played at RTG casinos and, while winning, tracked multiple series of BJ hands that could not possibly have been generated from a legitimate RNG.

Support people say in definitive terms….'our software is unassailable, absolutely beyond reproach'….and I would ask them one simple question….'how do you know? Did you write the software?…'

Also, any programmer can duplicate a software program and make one or two small changes…and suddenly that software guarantees a considerably higher winning percentage than the original….

We, soooooo want to believe the people who tell us lies…..and we do believe them, 'be patient Gary, our Accounts department is on this….you'll be paid shortly'….Gary our RNG is tested on a frequent basis and the integrity of our testing company and the integrity of our executives ….of the highest level….

Let's not be disingenuous, some are honest and some are not….and the temptation to steal, as it states in 'Reasons to Buy Our Software', can be virtually irresistible.

Just for fun allow this one question….give a detailed report on the last time TST caught a casino cheating….and tell me what ultimately happened to the cheaters…did they go to jail….were they thrown out of the country where they were licensed….did the online gaming industry go after them legally…surely, TST would have given such a case immense publicity…one would think…

One more question…using Blackjack RTG software…why is the dealer's second card always 'down'….my guess is the denomination of that card is not determined until the total of the player's hand has been determined….thereby dictating what the dealer needs to win the hand….and the software provides the needed cards….so, Roger, in my eyes some cheat and some don't….I appreciate your comments…but I am a bit jaded…

Hello Roger–thank you for your reply. You and Casino Deal are well meaning and I'm sure multiple players are in your debt.

However, if you will read over your reply you will have read an eloquent reason why no one (zero) should ever play at any unregulated online casino (and you state plainly in your reply that 'regulation does not exist'…the temptation to cheat as it states in 'Reasons to Buy Our Software', can be virtually irresistible. The circumstances beg for thievery and how many thieves do we per square foot in the world????

Then why would a wizened, war hardened gambling veteran like me make a $100 deposit to a suspect casino like Lucky 18? They gave me free money to play with, I won and they told me that there was a rule in existence that wins from free chips could not be paid until a $100 deposit was made….and they had previously paid me $50…I thought I was on safe ground…but there is no safe ground.

Also, I believe I stated that I had participated in Winners Online forum back in 2003/04. It is hard for me to depict the absolute power of that site within the gambling industry. Not only could Winners Online get things done but their were portal owners and well respected (players well known throughout the online gaming industry) players that could rectify problems. I suspect that many of those entities went south because of the inability to regulate online gaming. Without question, that is why the U.S. voted to outlaw online gaming within our borders.

When online gambling becomes legal within the U.S. (if ever) you can bet that intense, meticulous regulation of the industry  (just as is done in Nevada) will take place and maybe, just maybe …that same form of regulation will spread to casinos registered off shore. We can hope…

I understand what CasinoDeal is working toward and I wish them luck…but in view of their opponent, they are a bit of a toothless tiger at this point….thanks again for the reply….
