I am interested to find out what payback percentage has each video slot in part for each accredited casino. (but not only necessary for accredited casinos here on CasinoDeal, there are also few reputable casinos which would be nice to know about)

From what I know, some casino software providers (such as Wagerworks, VegasTech and DGS) allow casinos to change the payback percentage (RTP) for each slot in part. Some other software providers (such as Playtech) only allow casinos to change their video slots RTP per casino request to software provider – and this happens relatively rare. And I am not sure, but I think that there are some other software providers which do not allow to have their video slots RTP changed at all.

On the same idea, some casinos show the RTP of each of its video slots on the game help file (all WagerWork casinos from what I know), and some other casinos state somewhere on their site a full list with RTP`s for each of their game (in this category are all casinos which are licensed in Alderney because it is a term of the accreditation) and at the same time some other casinos (no matter the software provider) will not publish their video slots RTP at all ! (you may play a game with 15-20% house edge at all) – SO, any objective info about this matter would be just great ! (please post/tell your source also)

Hey SlotHunter,

This is quite a complicated question you are asking and the answer is that, following the normal regulations and procedurs, online casinos do not have control over the payout percentages of their games. It is in fact a mathematical formula that gets applied comparing the amount of wins and losses. Once the answer is found, it becomes the payout percentage of that machine. Each machine has its own payout percentage, add up all of them and do the average and you will receive the average payout percentage for that particular type of game (slots, video poker, etc.). If you then take all of the games averages, add them up, and do their average, you will get the online casinos average payout percentage.

However, some online casinos do change their games payout percentages and this is where we come in, we make sure that all of our online casinos are legit and offer our users a very pleasant online gaming experience. How you may ask, well if you notice, we mostly promote online casinos using softwares such as Playtech, RTG, or Microgaming. We actually have only 1 online casino promoted by Wagerworks.

Another thing that you must note is that payout percentage is a personal information proper to online casinos which means that if they do not wish to divulge this information, they have all the rights not to, the only issue that arises is the fact that it may look very skeptical to play at a online casino where no payout percentage is displayed.

Like I stated above, every online casino games have its own payout percentage, so if a online casino game has a very low payout percentage, online casino players won't go play that game. Since online casinos like to keep all of their games "busy", they like to keep some of that info confidential.

Thank you very much RogerWill,

And you are perfectly right. However, if you or someone can provide here some undisclosed (to the large public) payout percentages along with its corresponding video slot game name will be just great and will make this thread very popular !

Well to get that information, it would be a colossal task and not to mention that it may "alarm" some people in doubting in our professionalism. As you already know, last week we had a very "brutal" confrontation with the community of CasinoMeister because we asked a affiliate manager to confirm with us some personal player information in order for us to award our users their reward points. Now imagine what will happen if we ask them to divulge us personal information about their online casinos and online casino games?! We have no intentions of starting WW3 Wink

Anywho, we have no problem in asking our promoted online casinos to give us this piece of information. However, is it really worth the risk? Do we want another unnecessary fuss to explode upon us again? I will definitely speak about this to my superiors but I highly doubt that it will be given to us.

Well I think you are right again, people may get it wrong once again. In this case, I agree that it would not be wise for anyone from CasinoDeal to provide it publicly. But people from outside CasinoDeal team (like me and others) still can contribute with their findings. And to argue that is not bad (actually is even recommended) for casinos to have the transparency to show its customers each video slot RTP (payout percentage) in part, I mention once again that this is a required term obtaining Alderney Licence. (the most strict and reputable in the industry, as well known) It`s just a matter of transparency between casino and its customers.

You are right PlayHunter and casinos should be giving out that information, however like I stated above, it is in their rights not to divulge it if they wish so.

One thing that we could try to do is to get casino representatives to come in our forums and answer your questions because it is a totally different scenario if this question is asked by one of our users rather then us.

Another thing that you can do PlayHunter is to go in our "Direct Online Casino Support" section where you will find the casino representative of all the promoted casinos. Once there, feel free to ask all of the questions you have concerning certain online casinos information

Below is the link to that section:
