First of all, have a Happy and more Prosperous New Year for all the readers of this tread ! (my first post in 2023)

OK, and now to the subject: – I would like to hear some in depth detailed definitions from casino reps (but not only) for:

1. What EXACTLY means `fixed odd games` ? (precisely I want to know ALL games included in this category)

2. What exactly means `spirit of the bonus` term ? (basically HOW we should play a bonus TO FIT this term 100% ?)

3. About what `professional player` expression refers to ? (my guess would be that refers only to advantage play)

4. What actions/environments/habits should describe a PURE RECREATIONAL player

(and here I`m not reffering only to casino games players, but at gambling as a whole, see poker or sportbets)

Can a player who play around 3 hours on a daily basis be considered a recreational player ? But about one who will only play on weekends, but then he will play about 12-14 hours ? Does it matter if he is a low/medium/high roller or if he wins or lose in the long term in this recreational play equation ? Also does it matter if he do multitask or multitable while playing games ?

5. What are the stakes to be considered a low roller, a medium roller and respecively a high roller in a casino ?

(but how about the same question in regards to sport bets ? and poker ? or backgammon ? – I think bet levels differs)

Hey there PlayHunter,

I find it amazing how you find these great questions that I am sure many of our users need an answer to. It is true that many online casinos use words in their terms & condition that a lot of players do not understand.

Fixed Odd Games: Like the word states, it is a game that has fixed odds, meaning the odds never change. This also means that all online casino games are fixed odd games but they all vary greatly from one another. The perfect example would be the color bet in Roulette, you will always get a 2 to 1 payout. But Blackjack on the other hand isn't included in this category because the odds can change depending on what card gets dealt to the player. To name you every single game that falls into this category would be impossible because:

1) The list would be very long, almost all online casino games are fixed odd games.

2) There are way too many different interpretations of which games are or are not fixed odd games.

Spirit Of The Bonus: Now this is one term that confuses many users. Again there are many different interpretations and things a player can do that refer to this term. If a player places a deposit with the only thought of getting a bonus and cashing out right away (after the wagering requirements have been met), it is called "going against the spirit of the bonus". To get a precise answer, go check the terms & condition of the online casino you are presently playing at because every online casino has his own ways and manners of how a bonus should be played out to fit this term 100%.

Professional Player: A professional player is a person that plays at online casino as his main profession. This means that he is making a living off playing at online casinos. If online casinos suspect that you are a professional player, they will hold your funds and suspend your account. In some rare cases the accounts have been closed. Here at CD we have seen many cases where online casinos gave this "professional player" run around excuse to players in order for them to delay their withdrawals.

Recreational Player: The meaning of this term is a player that plays at online casinos from time to time and it isn't a significant part of his life. A recreational player can be a qualified as a player that plays once, twice, or even a few times a week but can then skip a week or two without even thinking of gambling. As long as it remains a recreation, a time to kick back and relax to the player, he will be considered a recreational player.

Low, Medium, High Roller: Every online casino has his own ways of determining if a player is a low, medium, or high roller. For example, a casino might consider you a high roller once you place a deposit of $10,000 or more, while others might say you are a high roller if you deposit $2,500 or more. How it usually works is that the more popular online casinos demand a big amount of deposits to consider a player a low, medium, high roller, and the lesser known online casinos have smaller required deposit amounts to be considered a low, medium, high roller.
